The world famous beach resort of Pattaya likely within five years no longer exist unless measures are taken to stop the continuous erosion process. This claims professor Thanawat Jaruponsakul of the renowned Chula long korn University.
The beach of Pattaya turned out at the last investigation only between 13 and 16 feet wide. In 1952 it was 117 feet and 61 feet in 2002. The “master plan” is to spray 7,062,933,334 cubic feet of sand. This takes about a year but then the level of 1952 is reached again.
